Being a mom isn’t easy. Whether you stay-at-home, work-from-home, or go to work, managing your household, career, and little ones is a huge undertaking.

Somehow you juggle everything, but maybe you’re not as organized as you’d like to be.

Busy mamas sometimes need to rely on careful organization and planning to achieve what they need to achieve. Having the right productivity apps at your fingertips can make all the difference in tackling your day.

Here are my favorite apps to stay organized as a mom.

1. BabyNursing

If you’ve got a newborn to care for, BabyNursing is the app for you. This comprehensive tracker helps you stay on top of breastfeeding, diaper changes, sleep schedules, milestones, and doctor’s visits, among other things.

Thanks to BabyNursing, you won’t forget which boob you fed on last, how many wet diapers your baby is having, or which vaccinations are due at the next visit to the pediatrician. For busy mamas, this can be a life-saver!

2. Trello

Trello is a to-do list, project management type app, that excels because of its visual and intuitive system. You can create cards for separate to-do lists, helping you break large projects into smaller pieces.

In particular, Trello is high recommended by a lot of the bloggers whose work I read. Regardless of whether you do work from home or at a company, this app can definitely help you keep your projects organized.

3. Tody

Staying on top of household cleaning feels impossible as a mom, so you may need a good cleaning system.

Tody, which was actually developed in Denmark, is my favorite cleaning app. When you set it up, you identify each room in your house that needs cleaning and what tasks are needed in each room. As you set the tasks, you also set how often they need to be completed and when they were last done.

Based on the information you provide, the app shows you visually what your cleaning priorities are. The more “overdue” a task is, the higher the priority. This gives you the ability to instantly see where you should devote your time. Such a time saver!

4. Recipe Keeper

Recipe Keeper is my favorite recipe app because it allows me to save recipes, plan meals for the week, and create a grocery list, all in one spot.

For a busy mama, having all of those functions in one place is super efficient. Using an in-app browser, you can search for any recipe. The app recognizes that a recipe is on the page you pull up, and automatically populates that information into ingredients and directions.

From there, you can save recipes to a weekly meal plan or create a shopping list based on ingredients.

Recipe Keeper keeps me sane when it comes to cooking during the week!

5. LastPass

As I get older, I’ve realized the number of online accounts I have to manage is astronomical.

Now that I stay home with my kids, I’ve decided to take over all of the financial management for our household, which means I now have to know passwords for accounts under my husband’s name as well as my own.

I grew tired of all those password reset emails and downloaded LastPass.

LastPass keeps all of my usernames and passwords, as well as other important information, in one single, safe, secure location. Less time resetting passwords means more time being present with my kids. Win!
