30 Day Geek Out Challenge – Day 30 and Recap
Well, in case you couldn’t tell from Days 2, 11, 18, 22, and 24, Star Wars is a pretty big deal for me.

I feel like my childhood was the Golden Age of Disney movies. From The Little Mermaid in 1988 (the first Disney movie I saw in theaters) through Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, Pocohontas, and Toy Story.
He’s funny, a little arrogant, but also honorable and moral. He’s the Avenger I’d most like to hang out with.
From the sweeping, epic horns that accompany the Fellowship’s travels, to the mysterious and elegant chorus that mimics the elves in Lothlorien, I could sit and just listen to all three hours and 40 minutes of Shore’s pieces.
If I became a cartoon character, my outfit would be some fun patterned leggings and a flowy tunic top. This is literally what I wear almost every day.
Something you find everywhere in the geek community is creativity. And that’s what I love.
While it’s true that some of the most supportive people I have ever met come from the geek community, I have also come across my fair share of trolls and bullies.
They talked about everything from books to politics to pop culture, but in a way that I related to HARD. Their combination of awesomeness and awkwardness spoke to me. They sounded wise and worldly but also young and sometimes a bit dorky, in an endearing and engaging way.
I don’t have a sappy story about how my fandoms brought me through dark times or anything like that. But there is something my nerdy hobbies have given me – a sense of community with others who share my passions.
My snarky, badass yet sophisticated, wise and courageous princess.
This film really didn’t do great in the theaters and critics were kinda just meh about it, but it’s one of my favorite movies.
I was hesitant about Mad Men. If you’d asked me if I was interested in a show about a man working at a NYC advertising agency in the 1960s, I would have said that was completely not my thing.
When I fantasized about fictional universes in adolescence (which was when both Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings got big), I didn’t fantasize about a world into which I could insert my child-self.
I guess I’ve never thought about this one before. I know that crossovers are a big thing for some people and I have seen a lot of crossover fanfiction, but I’ve never felt a desire to crossover my fandoms.
Bioware is famous for it’s lore-filled games and the Dragon Age series is one of it’s best. DA:I is the third and most recent game and is one of my favorite games for the way it kind of blows the storyline of the series wide open.
