This week’s topic is favorite Disney cosplays or cosplayers.
Cosplay takes a lot of time, energy, and money – something many parents don’t have a lot of. And yet, there are ladies out there who, on top of being mothers, are also still passionate and talented cosplayers.
So my top five list will feature all MOM Disney cosplayers. These fabulous ladies are rockin’ motherhood and creating beautiful characters and deserve recognition!
I actually did a feature post about moms who cosplay a while back, so if you like these ladies, please check out this post for the full list!
Here is the list:
I have been a fan of Aubrey’s cosplays since I did my original cosplay mom post. She chooses unique characters and is so wonderful with makeup and photo manipulations. I’ve featured her Alice in Wonderland cosplay here, but she does a great many other non-Disney ones that are just as fantastic. Her Ciri from The Witcher and Persephone from Lore Olympus are also gorgeous.
Miss Jilly Jazz
She’s a Snow White cosplayer with four boys. She volunteers with Superheroes to Kids in Ohio, a non-profit that provides costumed visits to kids who are sick or in need, which is awesome. Miss Jilly Jazz rocks Snow White, and has a great cause to cosplay for.
Rebecca, aka Quik Cosplay, has one of the best Moana cosplays I’ve seen. She fits the part perfectly! She also does some cosplays with her two little ones.
Naomi’s Princess Jasmine is STUNNING, and this crazy talented cosplayer is a fairly new mom! She also has a beautiful Moana and a casual Ariel in her repertoire. Love these photos.
Lady Maul Cosplay
Amber, who goes by Lady Maul Cosplay on Instagram, specializes in villain cosplays. Her Maleficent is badass, but you really have to see her Star Wars villains (which I guess still counts as Disney now). Darth Maul and Darth Talon are my favorites. This mama has mad scary makeup skills.
Are you a mom who cosplays? I’m always looking to feature more amazing, talented geeky moms, so send me a message or comment below to tell me about your skills!
